ODE TO A TRUE GURU

          Guru Purnima ,celebrated on July 12 is a festival dedicate to thank our gurus for guiding us from darkness to brightness.The word guru is derived the two sanskrit words"gu"and  "ru".The sanskrit word "gu" means  darkness and "ru" means remover of darkness.Therefore one who removes the darkness is called as a true guru.                                        

           When the disciple is ready,the guru appears.Once you seek the spiritual path,the guru appears to show you the way.Guru and Disciple attracts each other like magnet.A true will reside within everyone.He will try to guide you and awake you.Guru will hel you to understand your own power.Listen carefully to your heart,guru takes path of your heart and guides you.Gurus have positve attitude and they also bring the attitude of positivity.

  Need of a True Guru:
              We all are lucky to be born,to be living,to be breathing,to have a soul within us.A guru gives us faith.Guru helps to put our pride aside and bring forth our discipline and soul.Guru Purnima is a day to thank our gurus.It falls on the day of full moon.We can see some people dedicating thanks to their parents on Guru Purnima.Because they also showing right path to us like guru.A guru gives us the faith to face our circumstances.On the day of guru Purnima offer unconditional love and gratitude to your gurus.
        
          Think about your guru on that day.If you find a true guru,the meaning of your life will be completed.

CHARLES AND THE LION


            Once upon a time there lived a boy called Charles.He was a slave for a master.Always the master will be beating him.So he was always crying.He did’nt like the master.All other slaves were laughing at him, but the master not beat them.So,one day he went away from the master’s cottage.He went into a cave of a lion. There he slept.                                                                                               
                   
          He heard a roaring voice.He saw a big lion near him.In its leg it had a thorn,So it again and again roared.Without afraid Charles went near the lion and took the thorn from its leg.So they became best friends.

         One day when the lion leaving the cave for food, the master came and took Charles to his place and scolded him very much and beat him with the belt.He said that Charles’s punishment was that he will be putting him as a food for a hungry lion in the lion festival.he was so afraid of lion and he cried.
         
         When the lion festival came,He was putting in a ground where hungry lion will be coming.Lion came towards him and hug him.All were surprised because that was the lion Charles met at the cave.The master also freed him.

     MORAL:Helping tendency is important for all.

THE KING WHO LEARNED FROM A SPIDER


                    Once upon a time there lived a king named Robert Bruce lived in Scotland. He was the king of Scotland. Always he will be winning all the kings.He will treat the kings as servant.

                    But one day In the war with the king Charles Greece, All of his soldiers were died.He accepted his defeat. So Robert Bruce lost in that war.So Robert hide in a cave.There he saw a spider,which was building a web.In that time it rained heavily,So the web was broken.

                    Again it built a new web.Again it rained heavily.Again the web was broken.Again it built a new web.Now it didn't rained. The spider was happy                           
                    Robert was astonished by the hard work,confidence and perseverance of the spider.So the king again fought alone and won the war by his perseverance.This was the moral that the king learned from the spider.

MORAL: Perseverance, hardwork and confidence will be giving us the winning streak.

THE NECKLACE


                                   

            Once upon a time there a husband and wife. They were living happily. Husband’s name was David. And he was a clerk. And his wife’s name was Mathilde. She was a homemaker. They were living happily.One day David brought a letter. He jumped with joy . His wife was shocked and asked him the reason. He gave the letter to her . And she opened . She asked what is this ?. He told  were going to a minister’s meeting. Hearing  this suddenly she started weeping loudly . 
           
            David asked the reason. She told that she had no dress to wear in the minister’s meeting. He like guns very much. He also saved RS :500 to buy a gun for him . He thought for a while and told for how much do you want to buy a dress. She told that she want to buy the for RS:500 . For the wife’s wish he sacrificed  the gun  and bought a dress for her in that rupees. 
          
           After buying the dress again she started crying. David asked the reason .And she told that she had no ornaments to wear to the minister’s meeting. They had no money to buy. In that time David remembered Mathilde’s friend Loister. He told her to borrow some ornaments from Loister her best Friend who was a rich . Like that Mathilde also went to Loister’s house . Loister welcomed her and asked how are you my dear Mathilde?. 
          
          Mathide told about the minister’s meeting . Loister told don’t worry my dear Mathilde and she also brought a box to her. She opened the box and told to choose any one of the ornaments.Mathilde was confused to choose finally chosed a diamond necklace. She thought that Loister will be angry and she will not give that . But Loister agreed to take that necklace. 
         
          The next day David and Mathilde went to that minister’s meeting . All of them’s eyes in the minister’s meeting were in the necklace . After sometime the meeting ended .All of them went to their home. David and Mathilde also went to their house.In the way by the diamond necklace missed . After coming to their house only they noticed that. 
         
          They were afraid and they started searching it where and all they went , but they could not get it. So they decided to buy another necklace like that. They borrowed money many of them who and all they know . So they shifted their house to a very very small house and they also stopped servant for their house.            
          David and Mathilde went to a jewellery shop and saw many necklace but they could not see the necklace like that.Finally they found a necklace same like that. And asked the rate to the shopkeeper.He told that it was forty thousand.After a great struggle they bought it for thirty six thousand and next day Mathilde gave it to Loister.Now they were very poor. 
         
         David worked hard to pay the borrowed money and Mathilde was bored to do the household works and her hands become very red. Soon she became very old compared to her same age women. Three years rolled off.One day when she went to walk, she took rest .She saw Loister near her.
         
         Loister saw Mathilde and was shocked.She asked what is this my dear Mathilde.Mathilde cried loudly and told about the necklace. Loister laughed and told that her necklace was not a real one it was an artificial.It cost only five hundred rupees.

Pinkety pranks

                                                  Pinkety's pranks



Once there lived a naughty little pixie named,Pinkety.He teased everyone and was always in mischief.One day,he was sitting on a may-bush.


"What shall I do for today?"he questioned himself.Soon,he came up with brilliant idea.He filled his watering can with water and perched himself on a branch of a tree.He saw a dwarf with a mackintosh and poured the water on him.He saw the dwarf running away with his mackintosh on!He laughed aloud.


After a while, came The Lord high chancellor of fairyland,talking earnestly with the prince of dreamland.The pixie poured water on them too. The chancellor thought it was raining but the clever saw the scorching sun with vibrant colours shining up in the sky with the puffy white clouds and he did not believe it was raining. 


He looked up and saw Pinkety. He got frustrated and his eyes started to turn as red as tomatoes. He screamed at his top of his lungs that he was going to take him to the king. Once, Pinkety heard that he ran away as fast as lightning.


From that day onwards, Pinkety never played his mischievous tricks on others.
