Wild Wild Wet (Singapore)

The scorching sun was blazing in shades of yellow.Birds chirped melodiously and the trees swayed from side to side. What a wonderful day to start off an adventurous trip!

  My family planned a spectaculars trip to Wild Wild Wet. I was so excited and finished doing my daily activities quickly so that I could make some time to pack my items for the trip. I packed all the things I needed and helped my brother to pack his things too...
Since we had packed everything we started off the journey.We took the MRT (train) to reach our  dream destination. We had to take two long trains. The train journey was an entertaining one as I got to meet my best friend named, Abirami. We chatted happily about Wild Wild Wet.We had a little confusion on the way to Wild Wild Wet as we had never made it there before. This was our first time going there. We asked some people for help and we reached there on time.We waited for a little while for our other friends to come. They were very late.So, we entered Wild Wild Wet without them. It is a nice place to have fun splashing cool water. There were many rides in the water. I loved the rides that were treacherous. I loved  the ride, which was named Ular-Lah. It contained a large boat which could hold 6 people. The most thrilling part of the ride was that the workers would push us down from a particular height . It is a large slide. So, it made the whole ride very thrilling. We loved the ride very much. After a little while, we saw our friends. We went to the ride for  a number of times along with them.
     If you would like relaxing rides and not thrilling rides,"shiok river" is the best choice. It is a long river . Many people would love that particular ride. You should enter the river. If you do not know how to swim, do not be sad. There are two options. You could either wear a life jacket or you could swim in  a float which is available in the river. There are many floats for everyone.We went there many times.When I went for the first time,my leg got scratched by the rocks in the river as I tried to walk in the river.Then I learnt through my painful lesson  that I should never walk in the river again.
It is best to recommend that ride if you want a relaxing one.
For babies and young children , the " Professor's  Playground" is the best to recommend. There are many mini,safe and fun slides to play. There are different kinds of things in that playground.
 One of my memorable rides was " Slide-up". It was out of the water and was under the sun. If you are afraid of water then, I would recommend this ride. (I am not scared of water... Are you?) It is a large white-coloured board. You would have to take a big float which will be provided  beside the board. You have to carry it up to a particular height and sit on the float. The workers will push you down  from there. It is a little risky as there are no belts!There are only handles to hold. It is quite fun though...
 After we had enough fun, we went to change our outfits. Then we smelled an aroma of food coming near our bags. We started to eat the delicious food that was prepared by all of our parents.After we had successfully finished our trip, we made our way out after playing in a ride called the " monkey jump". It was not in the water but on the ground. It was a really safe and a fun ride. There are four big trampolines. Each person had to stand one one trampoline after we wore the safety gear. Then we started to jump really high! I was taller than my parents. It was a splendid view from up there, really high! I would wish to go to Wild Wild Wet one more time. I would also recommend you to go to Wild Wild Wet. I guarantee you, would have a good time there in the cool water. Have fun!

JAMAICAN FRAGMENT

          Once upon a time there was a man living called  Mani. Daily he goes to walk in the early morning. One day he saw a tram a type of vehicle coming by the way. He saw two boys playing. He thought one boy was 5 years and another one was 6yrs. But both the boys were wearing the same colour dress. Shirts was blue and pants was in khaki. The small one looks like foreigner and another one looks like Negroes boy. But both of them were playing.

          The little one ordered the big one to pick up the stick. Then the big one is doing what and all the small one says. So the man who was watching them thought that the foreigners strength raise in that country and he went to his house. Then the next day also he saw the two boys playing .This day the big one who was looking like a Negro ordered the small one who was a foreigner. This day he was confused by the children’s action.

         In that time only he remembered that when he was small he would use to play a game like that . In that game one person will order and the next day another person will order. And the person who ordered the day before will obey the words of the other person the next day. Now it was the turn of the boy like foreigner. The Negro boy ordered and other boy obeyed him.

         In that day a man like foreigner was watching the game played by the two boys. Then Mani thought that the foreigner will think that the Negroes strength raised in that country and the foreigners were treated as slaves. So Mani decided to make the foreigner to understand that it was a game. So he went to the foreigner and told that the two boys were playing  a game.

         The foreigner laughed and told that they were his sons and told I married a Negro. So one boy is Negro like my wife and another boy is foreigner like me and he also showed his wife to Mani. Mani was surprised by the words of foreigner.

TRIP TO ODISHA

                We went to Odisha on 22^nd July for national under 11 chess championship. On the first day we went on a big train 3^rd AC. It was two days journey to orissa. Nothing happened and an enjoyable day. On the second day we reached Orissa Puri. I cannot believe that day. There was a big rush. We were not allowed to go inside the hotel. Because for paying money it took a lot of time. In that time tension only. That day was a rushing day for us. On the third day first round started. I saw the playing hall. It was very cool because there was more than 10 AC’S. I was afraid of that. But I won the match.

                On the 4^th day there were 2 rounds. In the one round itself  I am so afraid but there were two rounds. In the first round of the 4^th day,  I lost in the match due to some personal problems. In the 2^nd round of the 4^th day I won. On that day, we went to Jagannath temple in Puri. It was very beautiful. The speciality of that God was he was svayambu. 

              In Orissa puri, the people were very worst in the temple. Because there were 5 sannidhis in the temple. In all sannidhis one man will beat all the people with a bamboo stick on the head.  We asked, Why are you beating? They said that is our duty. We asked another person. He said anyone low their they will ask Rs.200 or 500. Because of that thing, I was so afraid.

              On the 5^th day it was 4^th round. That match was with a very big player of Orissa. His name was Panda Sambit. I prayed to God. His rating was 1583. I won that match. All congratulated me. On the 6^th day my opponent was a big player of Maharashtra. I lost that match. On the 7^th day we went to Konark temple. The place was very beautiful and lovely. I cannot believe that is a dream or truth. The places were very well built.

             On the 8^th day, I am with a small player of Odisha. So I won that match. On the 9^th day, also a small player. So I won that match. On the 10^th day I am on 6 points. I am with a player called Saksham Routela.That was a very interesting match. I played for 3.5 hrs.I was going to win in 3 moves. All the players were watching the match. In that last second I did a mistake. So I lost. So this was a very joyful journey for me.

DEVELOPING INDIA

    India's economy has developed since independence at a low,steady rate of growth.In 1991 India experienced a massive balance of payment crisis and also with foreign exchange reserves.All of these pushed India to buy emergency loan from international monetary fund.Over the next two decades India moved to the center stage of the global economy.

Presently its biggest plus point seems to be none other than its Prime Minister Narendra Modi who was trying to develop the economic growth of the country.He signed many bilateral ties with China,Japan,America and Vietnam.He assured that India will become united in the period of his government.People also believes him.His approach to people was different when compared to previous Prime Ministers of  India.
    
    Modi launched clean India campaign scheme known as"Swachh Bharat".It created awareness in the nook and corner of the country.He said that everyone in the country must kep his place clean without filthy items.He equipped the Indian army with the modern equipments.So people of India believe that India will become an example for other countries.But we hav to wait to see that!

                                    Once upon a time the king of vijayanagar  krishnadeva rayar wanted to see the heaven on earth. so, he said in the court,"CAN ANY ONE GO TO THE HEAVEN ON THE EARTH".  Thenaliraman raised his hands and said "Majesty I know,'I will show that to you next month'.But i want thousand gold coins for that.".  The King gave thousand gold coins to Thenaliraman.  Next month,Thenali with the King, ministers and many soldiers were ready for the

journey.  They entered a new place.  That was very different for the king and he liked that place

verymuch.  King ordered his soldiers to built a small tent and ordered to do some works.

They finished that work.  The King stayed in that place.  The King asked Thenaliraman,

"you said to me few days before,'I will show the heaven on earth.'  Where is the Heaven?

Thenali replied,"Your majesty,what else we need? a natural cool breeze,tasty fruits,greeny plants

and trees,beautiful flowers are here.", so this is the heaven on  earth.This is the gift of God gave

for us.

CHARLES AND THE LION

            Once upon a time there lived a boy called Charles.He was a slave for a master.Always the master will be beating him.So he was always crying.He did’nt like the master.All other slaves were laughing at him, but the master not beat them.So,one day he went away from the master’s cottage.He went into a cave of a lion. There he slept.                                                                                               

                   

          He heard a roaring voice.He saw a big lion near him.In its leg it had a thorn,So it again and again roared.Without afraid Charles went near the lion and took the thorn from its leg.So they became best friends.

         One day when the lion leaving the cave for food, the master came and took Charles to his place and scolded him very much and beat him with the belt.He said that Charles’s punishment was that he will be putting him as a food for a hungry lion in the lion festival.he was so afraid of lion and he cried.

         

         When the lion festival came,He was putting in a ground where hungry lion will be coming.Lion came towards him and hug him.All were surprised because that was the lion Charles met at the cave.The master also freed him.

     MORAL:Helping tendency is important for all.

THE KING WHO LEARNED FROM A SPIDER

                    Once upon a time there lived a king named Robert Bruce lived in Scotland. He was the king of Scotland. Always he will be winning all the kings.He will treat the kings as servant.

                    But one day In the war with the king Charles Greece, All of his soldiers were died.He accepted his defeat. So Robert Bruce lost in that war.So Robert hide in a cave.There he saw a spider,which was building a web.In that time it rained heavily,So the web was broken.

                    Again it built a new web.Again it rained heavily.Again the web was broken.Again it built a new web.Now it didn't rained. The spider was happy                           

                    Robert was astonished by the hard work,confidence and perseverance of the spider.So the king again fought alone and won the war by his perseverance.This was the moral that the king learned from the spider.

MORAL: Perseverance, hardwork and confidence will be giving us the winning streak.

THE NECKLACE

                                   

            Once upon a time there a husband and wife. They were living happily. Husband’s name was David. And he was a clerk. And his wife’s name was Mathilde. She was a homemaker. They were living happily.One day David brought a letter. He jumped with joy . His wife was shocked and asked him the reason. He gave the letter to her . And she opened . She asked what is this ?. He told  were going to a minister’s meeting. Hearing  this suddenly she started weeping loudly . 

           

            David asked the reason. She told that she had no dress to wear in the minister’s meeting. He like guns very much. He also saved RS :500 to buy a gun for him . He thought for a while and told for how much do you want to buy a dress. She told that she want to buy the for RS:500 . For the wife’s wish he sacrificed  the gun  and bought a dress for her in that rupees. 

          

           After buying the dress again she started crying. David asked the reason .And she told that she had no ornaments to wear to the minister’s meeting. They had no money to buy. In that time David remembered Mathilde’s friend Loister. He told her to borrow some ornaments from Loister her best Friend who was a rich . Like that Mathilde also went to Loister’s house . Loister welcomed her and asked how are you my dear Mathilde?. 

          

          Mathide told about the minister’s meeting . Loister told don’t worry my dear Mathilde and she also brought a box to her. She opened the box and told to choose any one of the ornaments.Mathilde was confused to choose finally chosed a diamond necklace. She thought that Loister will be angry and she will not give that . But Loister agreed to take that necklace. 

         

          The next day David and Mathilde went to that minister’s meeting . All of them’s eyes in the minister’s meeting were in the necklace . After sometime the meeting ended .All of them went to their home. David and Mathilde also went to their house.In the way by the diamond necklace missed . After coming to their house only they noticed that. 

         

          They were afraid and they started searching it where and all they went , but they could not get it. So they decided to buy another necklace like that. They borrowed money many of them who and all they know . So they shifted their house to a very very small house and they also stopped servant for their house.            

          David and Mathilde went to a jewellery shop and saw many necklace but they could not see the necklace like that.Finally they found a necklace same like that. And asked the rate to the shopkeeper.He told that it was forty thousand.After a great struggle they bought it for thirty six thousand and next day Mathilde gave it to Loister.Now they were very poor. 

         

         David worked hard to pay the borrowed money and Mathilde was bored to do the household works and her hands become very red. Soon she became very old compared to her same age women. Three years rolled off.One day when she went to walk, she took rest .She saw Loister near her.

         

         Loister saw Mathilde and was shocked.She asked what is this my dear Mathilde.Mathilde cried loudly and told about the necklace. Loister laughed and told that her necklace was not a real one it was an artificial.It cost only five hundred rupees.

Once there lived a naughty little pixie named,Pinkety.He teased everyone and was always in mischief.One day,he was sitting on a may-bush.

"What shall I do for today?"he questioned himself.Soon,he came up with brilliant idea.He filled his watering can with water and perched himself on a branch of a tree.He saw a dwarf with a mackintosh and poured the water on him.He saw the dwarf running away with his mackintosh on!He laughed aloud.

After a while, came The Lord high chancellor of fairyland,talking earnestly with the prince of dreamland.The pixie poured water on them too. The chancellor thought it was raining but the clever saw the scorching sun with vibrant colours shining up in the sky with the puffy white clouds and he did not believe it was raining. 

He looked up and saw Pinkety. He got frustrated and his eyes started to turn as red as tomatoes. He screamed at his top of his lungs that he was going to take him to the king. Once, Pinkety heard that he ran away as fast as lightning.

From that day onwards, Pinkety never played his mischievous tricks on others.

In tamil cinemas,chennai means  central railway station and LIC building was the trademark for chennai. Chennai means this comes first in the mind of people. But each and everyday chennai is looking youthful and beautiful. But howmany people celebrate chennai' s birthday. So to know that we visit the important places in chennai.There were  three friends discussed  seriously. We questioned them ,do you know?Today what day it is? immediately a person told it was saturday. Repeatedly we asked  next. Second person answered,'' Today it is chennai' s day. Later, he introduced himself also. What do you do for chennai' s birthday we asked to him.                                          

              He replied,'' We have done nothing for our chennai. But we have to keep chennai clean''. When asked about chennai people said ''From next year we will celebrate the  chennai's birthday in a grand manner. People who came from other states or people whose birth place is chennai itself will also celebrate the chennai' s birthday, because it is the living place for thousands of people.

                      Children sometimes go out to play these days. Children must go out and play oytdoor games in sunlight. Sunlight prevents myopia[a kind of eye disease]. But children play only video games, or in tab or seeing the t.v. So we have to avoid these indoor games, says Dr. Mohan Rajan. 

                       When we compare the corporate students and the private students, corporate students eyes were well.But private students have deficiency in their eyes. Because corporate students playd well in before the sunlight but private students sit in the air-conditioned classroom. So their eyes were affected. We don't study at the sleeping position in the bed and at night we don't study in the chimnay lamp. This was the raeson for the power in eyes. 1,100 children were affected by the eye problems in egmore. We must check our eyes for atleast once in the year. Symptoms for the eye problems are head ache, dry eyes, eye strain, blurred vision, heck and shoulder pain, says namitha bhuveneshwari. Many children spend a lot of time in watching television. We must know the importance of our etes. People above 30 years must check their eyes.

                         BEST EXERCISE FOR OUR EYES

                    Don't sit constantly in the front of the computer. Because when we see computer continuously our eyes become dry. So automatically problems will come. We don't spwend lot of time in seeing television set. We spend time to how to protect our eyes ,like doing  exercises. If we work for 55 minuts thn take rest for 5 minutes and go out and walk .and come back. Observe the differences. We protect our eyes. This is our duty. Blinking is the best exercise for our eyes.          

                         FOOD FOR HEALTHY EYES

                           We don't take junk food, oily items etc. We take only healthy food. We eat greens, vegetables,and orange coloured fruits. They are healthy for our eyes. Carrots are high in betacarotene. It gives us the high vision and orange- coloured  fruits like papaya, orange, apricots are rich in lutin and also it protects us from age- related macular degeneration[AMD] problems.
                            Scientists researched about eyes. Eyes need vitamin c and is rich in orange and other citric fruits like lemon, grape juice, etc. Oysters, lean red meat etc are rich in zinc. Spinach is also good for our eyes. VAYALUR OR KUMARAVAYALUR TEMPLE

Vayalur or Kumara Vayalur temple is present in a  village near Trichy at a distance of 12 kms. The idol of Subramania swamy is placed in the Western direction. Subramania Swamy temple is special in many ways.
There are six abodes. One of the abode of God is located in Marutham in Tamil. It is rich for rice fields.

    Another abode. God guided Arunagirinathar to compose sandhakkavithai. Lord Muruga saved Arunagirinathar from a suicidal fall and guided him in spiritual path in Tiruvannamalai temple where Arunagirinathar composed Tirupughal which is further guided by Lord Ganapathy famously called as Poyya Ganapathy. Out of hundred songs, only 18 songs were retrieved.

    In the eastern direction, three raja gopurams and Dwajasthambam are located. One beautiful statue of Nandhi is also located. In the inside of the temple, there is a 200 years old vannimaram.Goddess temple is enclosured for Navagrahams. Going towards Garbagraha, One can see the hall one side partitioned room. In that place, bronze sculptures of Nataraja in Chatura Thandavam and Goddess Sivakami are kept. We can also see the idols of utsavar.

   Legend a chola king whose headquarters are uraiyur and Trichy. Oneday when he went for hunting, he was very thirsty. He searched for water. He saw a three forked sugarcane. When he cut it, he said blood oozing out from it. He started digging continuously in its base. Suddenly he saw a sivalingam. He decided to built a temple in that place. In historical speaking, people said that it is built in ninth century. In that temple, the swayambu is Lord Shiva. He was called as Vidhangar in that place for coming from underground. The sannithi of Subramaniya Swamy is located in the South Praharam.

   Besides the sannithi of Poyya Ganapathy and Adihnadhar there is a nice sculpture of  Dhakshinamurthy.
Subramaniya Swamy is standing with Valli and Devasena alongwith his vahanam Peacock. Its head is turned towards Valli(Devapakkam). There is a separate niche for goddesslakshmi,goddessdurga and chadekeswarar adjoining the northern wall of Adhinadhar's shrine.

   There are number of inscriptions of Devagoshtam of Adhinadhar which is referred to temple of Agneshwaram in the year 1936 they were copied and cataloged and reffered with spcial numbers from 138 to 157.That is during the chola rule Vayalur temple  is also known as keralanthaka valanattil Vayalur kottarathu Vayalur and Thenkarai brahmadeyam nadhivarma mangalam written in the inscriptions. Presiding the deity also went by the names of vidhangaperuman mahadevan mirapilli and thirukatrali peruman in the inscriptions.

  The king Raja Raja Cholan1, Rajendra1 and Kulothunga1 donated land , gold and ghee for the daily poojas and lightning the lamps of nandavanam.

  There was a special mention for navagraha idols which is in the north eastern part in the main hall.while suriya with his consorts shadevi and chayadevi is in the standing posture in the westward side . Theother graghas face suriya .

Starting from the month of chithirai to panguni a series festvals take place in that temple. Brahmaotsavam festival is conducted in vaikasi for 12 days.

 for subramaniya swamy srishti festival in aani and in aippasi is conducted in that temple. These are the things which denote the power of muruga peruman.

STRENGTH OF POSITIVE THINKING

        One day a boy changed his school from Tamil medium to English medium school. First day the first period was English. His teacher asked question to him. The question was What means I and What means you. The student said I means you and you means I. All the students laughed. The teacher said, Fool. You don't know the meaning of I and you. But the student did not cry. He did not feel guilty. The student said I said the correct answer only. The teacher said prove it. The student said you asked What is the meaning of I? So I means you. Then you asked what is the meaning of you. So I said I. So the teacher congratulated him for his positive answer and said we should learn from the student.

       In Mahabaratha also, Dronacharya called Dharma and Dhuryodhana. The guru asked Dharma to call one bad person. Guru asked Dhuryodhana to find one good person. He gave one week time. The time was finished. Dhuryodhana came to guru and said Sorry Guru. I cant find any good person. Next Dharma came and said Sorry Guru. I cant find any bad person. All are found to be good only. Dronacharya praised Dharma because of his positive attitude and said Dhuryodhana to learn from Dharma. This is also a very good example of positive thinking.

       Thomas Alva Edison tried thousand times to invent a bulb. In 1001st time, he invented the bulb. While taking the bulb his servant broke the bulb carelessly. But Edison did not scold him. He again tried to find the bulb. His ambition succeeded at last.This is also a good example for hard working and positive attitude.

      In my Chess Tournament also, I am the top seed. I lost in the 3rd round itself. All my friends were 3 out of 3.But I was only 2 out of 3. I did not lose my confidence. I tried to win the next 5 rounds. I continuously won the 5 rounds and won the title. So confidence along with positive attitude also very important for all.

     The very big example was Narendra Modi was a hard working man. In his childhood he worked in a tea shop. Because of his hard working attitude, he became the prime minister of India.Because of positive thinking we can succeed in any field.

    Again I am telling positive thinking is very important for all of us to grow in life.

Thanjavur periya Kovil

It was the June holidays!I jumped for joy. It was the time to go to India.
June 3 early morning
My family and I went to India by flight. It was a long and boring time in the flight. Once we reached our destination, we did all the procedures. Soon we went to my Father's friend's house. We visited all our friends and relatives in Chennai. After a few days, we went to Madurai by train. It was a short time. We stayed in my grandparent's house. We also visited our friends and relatives there! We planned to go to Thanjavur  by car. It was a fun trip in the car. We stopped at many places to buy things such as flowers, coconut, leaves for the prayers.

The people who have built the temple have put in a lot of workmanship, hard work and effort. They would have tried many times building the temple as it is the tallest temple and the best thing is that the shadow of the gopurum never falls on the ground. It is very hard to do that. The temple is built by king RajaRaja. The temple is also very humongous and beautiful.The tower is 216 feet tall.

 The main attraction here is the huge tower above the sanctum which is about 216 feet. The tower stands tall and one can see this fabulous structure even as one enters Tanjore.

About the Shadow- The most intersting part of this temple is the shadow of the temple, which surprisingly never falls on the ground .The Brihadeshwar Temple is one of the tallest temples in the world and is so designed that the viman does not cast a shadow at noon during any part of the year.

I really liked the thanjavur periya Kovil.  You must go to that temple it is spectaculars!

BIRBAL AND THE SCHOLAR

Once upon a time a scholar came in Akbar’s court. He asked a question. He asked who will find out my mother tongue. No one answered. Birbal raised his hands and said I will find your mother tongue but I want 2 days. The scholar said ok. The king also agreed                                                                                  

                                                                                                                                      In the scholar’s room while the scholar was sleeping Birbal took a stick and beat the scholar’s leg, the scholar shouted in his mother tongue and stopped he didn’t listened Birbal.  Next day morning Birbal said the mother tongue of scholar is Telugu.                                                                                                                                     The king asked how you identified the mother tongue. Birbal told the things that happened. The king laughed and praised Birbal with 1000 gold coins.

ABOUT INDIA’S INDEPENDENCE

                  India got independence in 1947. Gandhiji was the main source of support for it. He was born in porbandar in Gujarat. He worked as a lawyer in South Africa

                

                  His wife name is kasturi bai. He returned to India and fought for independence. He choused the way of non-violence. Seeing gandhiji all other people also followed the way of non-violence.

                   In that times there are many colour problems. Britishers ruled India. They ill treated Indians. Gandhiji and other national leaders fought for independence. Slowly all people fired the foreign goods and dresses.

                    Gandhiji was called as the father of India. Seeing gandhiji , Jawaharlal  Nehru also followed him. He also helped him in many ways. He went to jail for 12 years. His father’s name is mothilal Nehru. His daughter name is Indira Gandhi.

                     His family was a rich family. But seeing india’s situation he also fought. Finally gandhiji introduced non- cooperation movement and quick India movement in India. By this India got independence.

ABOUT INDIA’S ELECTION

              Now election is going on to elect prime minister for India. In that election Narendra modi , Rahul Gandhi , Smriti irani , Sushma swaraj all took part i8n election.

      

              Narendra modi’s party is BJP –Bharathi janata party his symbol is lotus. Rahul Gandhi’s party is congress and his symbol is hand and another people are Jayalalitha – ADMK - Anna dravida munnetra kazhagam and her symbol is two leaves, and Aravind kejriwal and his party is Aam Aadmi party and his symbol is broom stick.

               Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi were corrupting. They both gave money to people and told to vote for them. Narendra Modi is a truthful man. In small age, he studied in a government school. In his house all plates and other items were made with only sand or clay.

                 He was very intelligent and brilliant in his class. In small age his aim is to become a military officer. He himself had only one tea shop. He always first gets blessings from his mother then only he does any things. So only he won in election.

A wonderful birthday

The sun was blazing in different colors. Birds chirped sweetly to the music played by John by the recorder. John was jubiliant as it was his 6th birthday. 
He invited his friends with great pleasure. His parents and siblings gave him a big hug with
 happiness . They also gave him memorable presents. When his friends came, John jumped with joy as they gave him presents which was very cool.
He made a cake with creamy icing on top that had his name and the number 6. His mother lit up the candles and they started to sing the birthday song with excitement. With all his mighty powers, John blew the candles and everything was blew up! John was very satisfied with the day and he gave his friends a goodie bag filled with goods. His friends thanked him and wished him.

Finally, everyone went back home. His parents wished him with pleasure. John enjoyed his birthday as it was very memorable to him. He was waiting for his next birthday to arrive.

 

The amazing trip

The scorching sun was shining in different shades of yellow and orange. Birds were chirping melodiously. Trees swayed gently.

What a nice weather to start an amazing and a wonderful  day! I jumped for joy as my family and my close friends are coming to the East Coast Park. I was delighted as we can have a lot of fun!

We all met at the Serangoon MRT.(in Singapore) my friends were gorgeous looking. They were wearing beautiful dresses and their hair was filled with lovely curls and was neatly tied with bright coloured rubber bands. After we reached our long destination we were exhausted. We embarked to look and play the amazing games. I was attracted with my eyes sticked to a figure with a lot of blue and red coloured ropes. It was meant to be climbed. A shiver went down my spine. Although, I was terrified by looking at the ropes I was determined to reach the top. I  was deeply imaginating how fun it would be looking below from the top. Without a second thinking, I persevered to climb. With my one foot reaching the ropes and my hands trembling I pulled my body up and climbed the other ropes.

Out of the blue, I realized that I reached the very top! I have never been at that height before. Beads of perspiration rolled down my face. I saw a long-tunneled slide. It was slippery so I slid down as fast as lightening. I landed safe and sound on the sand. I sniffed the air. Delicious smells wafted the air. It was food! I ate the scrumptious. After the heavy meal that we had we went back home after the contenting,tiring, long journey. I quivered all over with excitement.
                                                    It is one of my best and enjoyable days ever!

TIGER AND THE GIRL

                                                 

            Once upon a time there was tiger and tigress .They was living happily. After some years two cubs were born to them. After some days tigress got some severe disease and died. Before dying she told to the tiger to take care of the two cubs.

             Tiger decided for a plan. He told to the cubs that he is going to marry a human girl. Then they three went to a village. There was a farmer in a land. Always in the afternoon his daughter will always come there to give him his lunch. She was very intelligent.

              One day the tiger told to the farmer that he loves the farmer’s daughter so he  want to marry her, If farmer didn’t accept he  will kill the farmer’s daughter daughter. Tiger also told that farmer to tell his decision the next day. That day itself he told all the things to his daughter. His daughter told no problem pa! I will tell a plan.

                   The next day he went to the tiger and said that “I will marry my daughter to you but there is one condition that is my daughter is afraid of your nails and tooth so you should cut your nails and tooth tomorrow”.

                    The tiger accepted for that. The next day the tiger came and waited for farmer. After some time farmer also came there and told tiger that he will not give her daughter to marry with tiger. Tiger got angry and told for your daughter I bear my pain but you are not giving your daughter. Farmer told now you are very weak. So you can’t fight with me. Hearing the words of farmer, tiger went sad.

Friends

I read an interesting newspaper and I was addicted to it like a bookworm. I would like to share it with you. I know everybody has friends. I am going to share about friends too. We have friends but do we have have friends who stay in different countries?If we have it is really good! I write letters to my friends or e-mail them. We also could talk to them or now we even can use skype and many more...if we write to them they are called pen-pals. It is very interesting to have such pen-pals. Try to have some it does not have to be your friends it may be your relatives or someone you know. Try to have some.Thank you I hope you enjoy reading my reflection and knew the importance of having pen-pals.

Reflection

I read the newspaper and I am going to share my reflection on wastage of food. We must never waste food! The ones who have cooked and the ones who have helped put in a lot of hardwork. We must not waste their efforts! Think as if you are the one who cooked or helped and you see someone throwing the food away. How would you feel? I would feel angry as they wasted the hard efforts. So if  you waste food please do not and also tell others not to waste food.

Reflection

I read the newspaper. I am going to share my reflection on your spine being straight. We must not hunch our back because our spine would bend and when we turn old we would hunch. It is very pain and may cause many problems such as cannot remain in the posture. So better don't bend your spine now! Take care!

TEN LITTLE FRIENDS

                    

     That was winter season. All children were happy to play. Because the heavy snow of winter fallen on  the  road.  And ten little children came out of the home and covered their body with socks, sweaters, caps, glouse etc…They felt very happy.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Two little friends their name peter and Tania. Peter took a shovel and Tania built a snowman. Peter decorated that snowman’s mouth with his shovel and Tania took a coal for eyes .                                                              They played like this. Maria and her little sister papa walked on the road with their dog. They also wanted to build a snowman.                                                           That time Igor came and asked to papa “Can I help you to build a snowman?” Yes papa replied. Peter’s friend Paul came and called his all friends and said, my mother prepared snacks to all.                                            All children came to his home and ate the chestnuts. Paul’s mother pulled the nuts and peeled also. So the nuts fire didn’t burn their fingers.                            Papas dog was not allowed to inside the home, but his  mother gave a tasty bone to it. The dog ate that bone and also all children came to their home.

THE EMPEROR’S NEW CLOTHES

             

          Long long ago, there was a king named Narayanan. He wore one cloth for one day. He didn’t use cloth twice and he also wanted to wear new clothes. So the ministers announced to the people that “Who stitch the beautiful clothes everyday to the king they will be rewarded”.   All the tailors were ready to stitch the clothes to the king. But he did’nt like any clothes. He only liked the clothes of two tailors. The king gave prizes to them and asked whether they could stitch the clothes everyday.

 They accepted for that.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

           After some days the king wanted to see the clothes that were stitched by the tailors. A Minister saw that clothes and worried because they stitched only one half pants. Minister took it and showed it to the king. The king saw the cloth and he got angry. He called the tailors and asked what is this? They said this is a magical half pant and it is very suitable for you. The king also believed them. The king wanted to show the half pant to the people. So he walked in the road with the half pant. All the people laughed. A small boy told all the truth about the two tailors. The king punished the tailors and rewarded the boy.
